Halloween Star Danielle Harris Makes Feature Directorial Debut With ‘Among Friends’

Los Angeles – Scream Queen Danielle Harris steps behind the camera to direct her first full-length feature film, Among Friends. The screenplay was written by and stars Alyssa Lobit. Lobit also wrote and played the lead character in the award winning film The Things We Carry.

Chris Backus, Jennifer Blanc Biehn, AJ Bowen, Brianne Davis, Dana Daurey, Danielle Harris, Kamala Jones, Alyssa Lobit, Chris Meyer and Tanya Newbould have all signed on to star in the picture.

Long time friends Danielle Harris and Jennifer Blanc Biehn recently worked together in Michael’s Biehn’s The Victim, a Grindhouse inspired movie due out later this year.

The project is financed by production companies Three Little Birds and Hollywood Treasures Inc. Jay Lobit and Bill Allison are executive producers for Among Friends.

Filming is set to start early this August.
